I am Darius. Although I am formally still a new player in website development, logic and problem-solving have been with me since the first DOS commands. Before I ever heard of "Wi-Fi" and "the cloud," programs and games were loaded from a cassette tape recorder – the computer would read audio signals, and the "loading" screen would flicker for long minutes. This is how my first encounters with technology were born – along with the patience to wait for a system to fall into place on its own.

I graduated from the Baltic Institute of Technology (BIT). Today I build with Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL – and lately I spend more and more time with artificial intelligence, which has become my assistant, sometimes my teacher, and sometimes a companion that catches mistakes I would never spot on my own.

Efficiency, to me, isn't just a fast-loading page. This very site generates stories with the help of AI every day – but before any of them go public, each one passes through several independent checks: is the fact actually true, has a real person been credited with something they never did. A mistake nobody sees is still a mistake – better to catch it myself than let a visitor find it.
